Should I Get A Cave (or Something) For Them To Hide In?

Im hopefully getting some corys in a few days.. i have two fake plants, and a smallish castle already in the tank. Ive noticed in quite a few cory tanks they hide in caves, logs etc so would i need to get one? the castle cant really hold much inside it and betta is always in and out of there anyway..

Hello! As far as I'm, aware Corys are nocturnal, so it'd be best to provide a cave or such for them to hide in during the day

This is a link to a site which shows you how to make a coconut cave, I used that guide to make two for my 16 gal community tank and they look pretty good and seem to be practical

A cave isn't really necessary, but it's a nice touch and the corys will use it.

COOOL !! A coconut cave !! Ima make one when I get my corys.

i have found that when i increased my numbers of them they hide less and less, they seem to thrive on larger numbers. once i get above 6 they seem to use thier cave less and less.
However it is nice for them to have somewhere to feel secure and safe.

That's true, kewskills. As a schooling fish, they do better, when their group is bigger rather than small.
