I have ordered a betta from a breeder with excellent reviews but gave received this message
“The fish you ordered has now damaged his tail more than in his photos, I’m not happy to send him like that without you knowing so I have a few options for.
I can tidy his tail up under anaesthetic removing some of the damage refund you £5 and include some almond leaf to put in his tank to encourage regrowth.
You can choose another fish up to £17 no extra charge (I’ll be listing some more tonight and tomorrow)
Or I can just refund you
Let me know what you think, sorry for any inconvenience ”
Which option is most sensible for a beginner betta keeper? Is choosing a different fish the most sensible option? Thanks
