Should I Be Worried About My Pleco

So I went out and got two BN plecos and just released them. One is swimming around looking for food and exploring while the other is just sitting on my gravel doing nothing, should I be worred

Can you give more info - tank size, water params (ammonia/nitrite/nitrate/ph), tank mates (if not in quarantine) etc?

29 gallon tank
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 40
ph 7.0

Unfortunately not in quarantine, my parents won't let me have a quarantine tank. I don't think it has anything to do with my levels as I got them both from the same tank and the same store, could it be he just needed more time to get used to the tank, he has finally moved

I find that some plecs are staright out exploring and some just sit there thinking 'where am I'

The same as after they are used to the tank, some only come out at night, and some just aren't shy at all.

You'll know in a few days.

Plecs sit still alot,nothing to be worried about.

Yeah i've had my pleco for four years. The only time I really see him move is when it's feeding time, or my goldfish bumps him out of the way.

In a 20l tank, he probably doesn't move because he cant move What type is he? Any pics?
