Should Crab And Shrimp Molts Be Removed From Tank?

Since adding my CUC, I've had at least 3 hermit crab molts and both my peppermint and cleaner shrimp have molted. In general, I've removed the molts if they are easy to get to and left those that are under the LR or broken apart before I can get to them. Last night I saw a bristle worm drag away a molted crab leg and was wondering whether this residue is good/bad or innocuous for the tank in general?

I generally leave moults in the tank unless they are easy to pluck out. My CUC seems to deal with them pretty quickly

Leave 'em in...good protein for the scavengers. SH
