Here's an interesting thing I discovered with my similis.
The store that sells the fish dosnt have shells in the tank.
When I bring them home it takes about 2 days before they realize that they can go in the shells when they are spooked. Otherwise, they will just huddle on the floor.
Its amazing how it's built into their brains that they are shell dwellers even if it takes a few days for them to fully realize.
