I don't know for sure. Isn't that the same thing as a multi-colored betta? As in they are bread to resemble koi patterns. I don't know all the types of betta out there myself. This is the first one I have had. I'm pretty sure she's a plakat type though.

Yes, it's like a color type of Betta. I'm pretty sure they have shorter fins too, even the males. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) Beautiful Betta though!
