Shattered - Sort Off

Well, my tank was suppose to have arrived but instead, i have since found out they were not getting my curved tank.

Seems I was to get the LFS tank that was on display.
They had several of them in the store and all were stocked. Only problem with this is that the tanks were pretty dirty and also had a few scratches.

So being the fusspot that I am, I canceled the order and reordered a brand new tank, a larger tank with another LFS for the same price.

This has now being specially made to order ( 48 X 14 X 24 and 10mm thick glass) and should arrive hopefully in a fortnight.
Add to this a timber tank cabinet with 3 doors as well as timber hood (both to be stained over the weekend)..........

Now, this started off being a little tank for the kids has suddenly become a serious hobby for the parents.

Scary part is that I have today purchased a Moonlight kit consisting of 3 Blue LED 6 watt lights (fully submersible)

I could really go on but i would probably bore you all so I'll stop here !!!

thats not on for them to give you a use display tank without clearing it with you first.

sounds like you did the right thing, how bigs the new tank gonna be then?

Sorry about that, Dutchie, but you can't come between girls and diamonds. Welcome to the hobby. Sorry about the original tank, but the new one sounds really promising. Do you have any questions about getting started? The people at TFF have a lot of experience and can help a lot. Moonlights sound wonderful. I'm planning on getting some of those for my 36g bowfront.
