Shark ?

Back in the early 90's I gave salt water a try. I was a real sucker for sure and purchased almost anything, but it was just about everything that I actually didn't need. I remember purchasing a small/pygmy shark of some sort. It had a pattern on it that I would say closely resembled desert camouflage. I had no business purchasing it, but I was wondering what it was. Does anyone have an idea what it might have been or could someone point me towards a book or online resource?
