Shark Eggs

Hello All,


I am new to the group so i hope this post works!

I bought a shark egg today and i was wondering how long they usually take to hatch? When I held the egg up to the light you can see him in there swimin around, and i would say he is about 3 inchs long. Oh ya he is a Brownbanded Bamboo Shark.


Any help would be great!!

firstly, Hi and welcome to the board.

Not quite sure how long they take to hatch because i don't know how old it is already. what size tank do you have. I woulldn't recamend anything less than a 200 gallon. the water quality needs to be spot on. i would also recamend that you use a large sump system. this alows a large biological bed and a big skimer.
