Yep :D.

I will look on there site for some information, but aditional information is still warmly welcomed.

Edit: I will say, that people have very different views on the fish, with all the different names, and growth sizes.

I know at my lfs, there not in a very big tank, and are in with aload of other fish.
(guessing there in there just for selling perpose's not for a long while).

I would recommend keeping in a 55g+. As they mature they go from freshwater to saltwater. I got 3 and CFC has 2 and someone else on here just got one by the same name as yours also. I feed mine sinking catfish pellets and brine shrimp. They are very peaceful but will eat smaller fish and fry if they can. They LOVE brackish water. Many inverts like brackish as well. They grow to 10", so accomidate for that. What else you wanna know?

They will get quite big and are going to need to be in a tank with other fish that are atleast 3"....they will eat anything that will get in there mouths...I wouldn't put them in anything smaller than a 70 gal. tank;

Thanks for your help, how do you get "brackish" water? also would these fish be great in a pond inside my greenhouse, as they become say 5"? The pond will be 2-3ft wide and say 10ft long, maybe more, Also it will be quite deep anything up to 5ft i would think.

Also, will heaters be needed etc? Basically anything along those lines.

Brackish is basically between salt and freshwater. I usa salt water salt. I think a heater is required, but I don't know as these things migrate to the ocean after maturing. I am going about treating my sharks like normal fish. Controlled temp, closely monitored habitat, etc. I think that 's what they need, but don't know. I think the only fish that would do good in ponds is koi. :dunno: Probably never going to get into ponds. Anyways, they are one of the few catfish that like salt in the water, other then that they're a catfish.

I have got these Shark Cats too. Mine are in with Dragon/Violet Gobies and they get on great. Although they are in freshwater at the moment they will be moved to brackish soon. I have 5 and they stay together all the time, they are a shoaling fish and become more active in groups of 4 or more. Mine are in a tank 7ft x 2ft but they generally stay over one side and swim up the sides a lot.
They are on sand substrate which is essential for the gobies.
They eat chopped up prawn, cockle and mussel and go mad for it. Needs to be chopped small though. They are really cute looking fish with their white tips on their barbels and gold sheen on their backs. The latin name i am not sure how to spell but ti`s something like Aerius Seemani.
Best of luck with them. Aquaria Central and Planet Catfish are good sites for looking up fish. Also Fishbase for info. on species.

So i wouldnt be able to keep them in a heated indoor pond then? But i would think that the pond would just be like one huge fish tank...

"But i would think that the pond would just be like one huge fish tank... " That's my theory as well, but I'm not sure that I would want to test it.
