Don`t worry, we have 5 of them ( they should really be kept in a shoal as they feel more secure). They swim all day and all night going strangely up the sides of the tank then flipping back and around. Feed them finely chopped prawn, cockle, and mussel.
Did you know that they will need to go into brackish water once they get to 4 - 5 inches? This is essential not only for a longer life but their behaviour brcomes very erratic when they need this change.
They will need gradually stronger brackish conditions eventually near to full marine. Ours have a tank 7ft long but only really swim in half of it during the day. After lights out they venture further.
