Hi I am going to be getting a pair of bolivian rams in a couple of weeks, when the lfs has them in. But they sasid that they will most likely be juveniles, so how could I tell the males and females apart?

Basically; you can't!

Bolivians are really hard to sex even as adults; you stand no chance with juveniles...you'll just have to get half a dozen and let them pair themselves off as they mature.

oh  lol, As I only want one pair and my tank is only 110L do you think it would be better to get say 3-4 rather than 6?

Yes, it's not a problem having 3 or 4; you just have less chance of being lucky enough to get a pair, that's all!

I just dont to add too many thats all, what age do they normally start to pair up? if I end up having 2 pairs would they be ok in they same tank? How do you sex adult rams?
