If you can't tell from that photo, just ask me and I will try to take another.

Found this on google

"Sexing Tiger barbs is not very hard, since the female Tiger barb is larger than the male and sports a rounder belly. The male have a distinctive red nose, and above the black part of his dorsal fin you can see a characteristic red line. The dorsal fin of the female is mainly black."

Dunno the legitimacy, but it makes sense. hope it helps.

Yes, that is how to sex tigers :)

All mine have red lines, but some are less distinct. I asked for 3 males and 2 females at the petco, but I think I got all males...

If it helps at all, I've never up until now knew how to sex them, and I've been keeping them since I started the hobby with no issues. I'm sure they'll be fine, regardless of the male to female ratio. If you were trying to breed them, I believe having more females than males would be more efficient, as well. Just food for the thought.

EDIT: On another note, I've never ever had a LFS keeper know how to sex their fish. So whenever I ask them for a specific gender, they give me a blank look and try to make a lucky guess. So if you want specifics, its better to point them out yourself rather than trusting their knowledge.

Females also are rounder and plumper, while the males are sleeker. I've gone with this and the red nose indicators and that makes it pretty easy. They do need to be mature to be sure, though.

And as for letting any LFS employee pick out my fish? Never.

Thanks, but I need an expert of some sorts to help me sex the ones in the picture I posted.

Looks like females to me.

Yeah, I'm not sure if mine are mature, they are around .75 inches, but one is pushing 1.25.
