Sexing Newts

hi i have a red spotted newt and was thinking of possibly getting another one but i'd want one of the opposite sex however not sure how to tel the sex of the one i currently have, any tips?

The little "bump/swelling at the base of the tail" bit does. I've seen it in spotted newts too.

No problems .

One of mine is definately a male...the other one I think is a male (not sure; I'll check back come breeding season..
