As title what should i look for to determine their sex i have two and one is a little larger than the other and quite a bit thicker set and seems to be a little bit more dominering towards the other.

Males have more bristles and the bristles are longer.

the moment you get a bristle going up the face rather than along the lip - its a male ;)

My little female hasnt got any bristles at all....i think she may have had one which has since gone missing lol....hasnt stopped her laying eggs though.

Yeah these two little guys have no bristtles on there nose's yet when do they develop bristles?

They are probably only just over a inch mate still quite small in pomparison to my other tank mates

Not really big enough to sex yet. I have two myself, that are getting to be about an inch and a half and they are only just beginning to grow the bumps for the bristles. ;)
