So i picked up 2 bolivian rams today. The LFS assistant said that they were a male/female pair. But im not so sure. Niether fish has extended caudal and dorsal fins from what i can tell.
They also seem to be 'locking lips' alot, and the fish in the 1st pic chases the other fish away everytime he/she comes close. Though the fish in the 2nd pic doesnt look that colourful, when its by itself away from the other ram it colours up nearly exactly the same as the fish in the first pic.
Any ideas whether i have 2 females, 2 males or a male/female pair???
