Sex Of Parrot Fish

hi i have got 2 orange parrot fish is there anyway of finding out which is male or female as one has a bigger face than the other and was wondering if this one is the male

sorry to burst your bubble, but from what I've been told, Parrot fish, aka Blood Parrot Cichlids, are 99% infertile, unless you got Jellybean parrot fish, then you have a slim to none chance of breeding them. Although it's not unheard of that they MAY breed, it's just very unlikly. As for sexing, not 100% sure, Jellybean parrot sexing is easy, the females belly has more red to it than the males... Mabye this is the same way with Blood Parrots...

It would be nice to breed BP. Would they have a typical cichlid spawn? Probably 200+ eggs.

The fry would almost be too easy to sell. How much do they cost? Like at whatever size they're avaiable. I dont care where just the size and price.
