Hi all! I sent message few weeks back to say I'd had my first sign of eggs from a gold severum and black severum but unfortunately they ate the eggs. However after week or so they had more and this time they moved them from filter box down to gravel and I had some wrigglers!! Now about a week on they are doing well and i moved all the other fish out of tank (took quite a while to catch two jewel cichilds they put up real fight!) as they were torturing the parents and they looked real stressed. They keep moving the young from bogwood to stones etc which i'm sure is normal. Last night the young started to swim and its amazing to see the parents looking after them and catching them and bringing them back.
I just wondered is anyone out there experienced and has any tips to try help these young survive. The only other fish in with them is a plec. Should the parents be taken out? What should i feed them? The tank is well planted and has bogwood, rocks and is 180ltrs. Any ideas guys?
