I just was cleaning my betta tanks, and found that one of them was swimming around his tank like crazy. Upon closer inspection, I found that if he didn't swim in short, fast spurts, he would immediatly float to the top, tail first... and then while hovering with his back out of the water, he'd float on his side. He can't do anything about it, and he's freaking out. He keeps propping himself under his plant leaves so he doesn't float upwards. He can't get down to the bottom. I changed some of his water, as I had planned, added salt, and got a bit of pea down him - the latter being very difficult as he would have to chase it and often missed. Ugh, I can't stand seeing him like this, he's very scared about what is going on. He was fine an hour or so ago... Can I do anything else?! I hope it sorts itself out, but I want to help him all I can, if possible.

Awwww, I'm sorry to hear that! Poor guy. Maybe you could lower the water level so he doesn't have to try so hard? The peas are definately a good thing and I bet he could get them easier if he had less water? I don't know what else to tell you though. I hope he's ok... :(

He's so much better!! Acting almost completely normal... seems to have a bit of tail problems still, but barely noticeable. YEY! Thank you so much for your support last night Steph.
