Serpae Tetras

Hello,

I have a group of 6 serpae tetras and would like to know how to tell a male apart from a female. Can anyone also tell me how I could breed them and what kind of conditions they need?

all i can say is that there fish nippers.I took mine back to the lfs because of this problem.

I am very happy with them, as they are so lively. As far as the fin nipping goes; I bought these because I needed a robust fish that would not be bullied (or eaten!) by my gouramis, which was what happened with my neon tetras.
