has anyone mixed these 2 fish together?
if so, do they school together?
i've been looking into these fish and they are more or less the same species (hyphessobrycon eques and hyphessobrycon megalopterus) so figured they would school together, which i think would look great. same fish but one is red and one is black... great! lol
pictures would be great :D

Even though they are from the same family, there's no guarantee that they will shoal together.
Serpae Tetras are extremely nippy so they need to be kept in a big group.
You could go for Red Phantom Tetras instead of the Serpaesand you may stand a better chance of them shoaling.
