florenette ? yup i use em, i stick em in near roots of the plants, way into gravel. :D takes about 10 days to completely dissolve :) IMO if it doesn't dissapear instantly it means its doing good because its injecting nutrients into the gravel slowly :)

I think that's them

I didn't realise you had to bury them. The instructions confused me :D

I do bury the florenaplus though...and now don't understand why I didn;t bury the others :S

Thanks!!

I think I have them too. Got a kit with different fertilizers and a co2 thingy. Not had it long enough to see if it's working.

We are using Sera florenette A as well. We are also using some liquid plant food daily. Should we replace the florenette as often as the pack says given that we are supplementing with liquid plant food as well?

I stick them by the roots of rosette plants...swords, crypts etc...bury them in the gravel by there roots.

yes, if you are root feeding plant like swords, crypts etc, keep to the recomended dosage, if you have algae growth cut down a little on the liquid plant food.

I have some Florenette A tablets but the instuction sheet has been lost. Could someone give me a brief version of the reccomended dosage etc? Thanks a bunch! :)

this is from the florenette A packet...

Directions for use: Add 5ml sera florena or 1 tablet sera florenette A per each 20 liters (5 gal) of water once weekly. Place the tablets in close proximity to the roots.
extra tip: if you purchase new plants, trim the roots before planting, e.g., with a very sharp pair of scissors. This opens the veins and enables the plant to take up nutrients quickly.

Is anyone also experiencing the problem of the tablets easily crumbling? Thus making it harder to burry near the plant?

If ever, what do you guys do to overcome this problem?
