Hi

I recieved my PFK tank and duly bought substrate, heater, and a Sera C02 Start as per the PFK method.

After filling, planting, etc the following day I added the C02 tablet wich was meant to last for a couple of hours...yeah, right.
It was gone in about 10 minutes

The instructions say to keep the top edge about 5mm under the surface, I took that to mean the rubber bung, but in the illustration the water dosent even reach the top of the plastic reactor.
Help ! :shout:

info can be had here: SERA C02 Start

Thanks,
Peter

The minerals immediately disperse in the aquarium water. As the CO2 slowly and evenly permeates through the special plastic material of the sera CO2 Diffusion Reactor, it becomes available to the plants for several hours. This allows sufficient time for all the plants to take an optimal share.

that was what the product says... pfk might say diff but that's what i read

It was actually the Sera instructions that stated that the tablet would last a few hours, not Pfk.
Having said that, the instructions are not that clear anyway.

Thanks for your help

Peter
