separating males from pregnant female platys?

My female platy is pregnant and the males seem to keep attacking her.They are'nt attacking her really bad but i dont want her to loose the babies.Would separating them make her depressed.I have a siamese fighter that does'nt attack her,could i put them together so she isnt alone.please help

if you want the fry then i would move her/ separate her as the biggest cause of miscarriage in livebearers is harrassment from males. Also if you put her in with the betta then you will have to scoop the young when they come cause the betta will snap them up quickly. HTH
