are those rocks secure i couldnt sleep at night if they arent

They feel secure the big rocks at the bottom are solid along with the big one top left. The others on the right are held by the one on the left. I may need to remove the tiny one at the top as it's just lay in place. I'll have to watch if the fish dig underneath although I think I did berry them somewhat. May be worth trying to berry them to the very very bottom. All seems hard for me to push over. Any tips on securing?

i used to have a 150 us gal. tank with discus and did something similar with the rock formations. sadly one of them wasnt as secure as i thought and it crushed two of my babies. a word to the wise.. ALWAYS recheck them! one of my good friends suggested taking the rocks out and letting them dry, then using some acrylic glue(like what holds the tank together) i cant remember exactly what he said, but it works! i really hope this helps!

I like it! although i personally would avoid the plastic plants.

Is it big enough for Malawi? what stocking were you thinking of?

I was thinking of the following? Need some advice on which ones.

Yellow Labs
Zebra Ludo also know as Labidochromis caeruleus Lundo
Iodotropheous Sprengerae (rusty cichlid)
And Maylandia Phaeos
I like the pindani strain also (I think that's what you call them I must look.

Bottom of the tank I was thinking of synodontis petricolas.

Any ideas if this will work and how many cichlids and cats would you recommend?

The petricolas will work fine with African Cichlids. They don't really bother with them just getting on with sweeping the tank :) in my tank which Is 190 litres I have 16 various cichlids and 6 catfish - 3 petricolas and 3 cuckoo cat fish :) they are very active and can be seen a lot.

I think the catfish work better in a group. Since getting the 3 cuckoo cats to join the petricolas they seem to be more active I'm not sure if that's because of the added numbers or simply settling in hopefully both but even so very active. I have all the pics of my cichlids and cats on here "sensesfailsfish" thread or by clicking on the my fish link in my sig :)
