Addicted and in Therapy
I need good thoughts and prayers please. I am now currently fighting a big ugly battle with evil betta-killing things! My poor, beautiful girl in my azoo is very, very sick. A few weeks ago, she tore her pectoral fin about half off, but I wasn't too worried - treated it with melafix and some salt..... 
Didn't work. Just yesterday noticed she had some major fin rot going on in that area, with the base all inflamed and reddish, and the fin is now completely gone. All that is left is the fin ray.... 
There is some lovely junk attached, but that's it. She also looks like she has the same intestinal worms as my cherry barbs, but I can't really do anything about that. One of her ventral fins is also eaten away with rot, about 1/3 of it is now missing. Sooo, I emptied her tank, scrubbed it with salt, and put her in fresh water.This morning I took another look, and she has ich!! AHHHHH! It's nasty, slimy crap comin off her and little white dots in many places...
After much research, I bought Maracide and Tetracycline... she's dosed with both right now, and salt. If anyone else has advice or experiences, PLEASE share. I'm at my wits end, this is so hard... cherry barbs are dying and now this. My poor lady...
She seems mostly ok besides looking awful, she's still eating, though not with as much vigor today. *sigh* Pray for us.
