hi,my semaprochilodus taeniurus continually hides behind my bogwood and never comes out.he hides with the 2 x senegal bichirs in their hidey hole.
their tankmates are 8 x congo tetras.why does he hide all the time?????
there are lots of plants, bogwood etc to make him feel secure.
thanks in advance.

if it's a new addition or a young specimen it's quite normal for them to hide until they feel confident, i have a group of 5 and 3 tend to stay out whilst 2 continue to hide in the plants.

thanks paul mts.he is a stunning fish.it will be nice when he comes out a bit more.once again, thanks. :good:
