Selling Trilineatus Cory Juvi's

I have some tri cories which i intend on selling,but unsure what size is good for them to be sold on at...

At the moment they vary between 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch,age wise they're around 4-6 months old.

Would this be ok size/age to sell them on at? they have been in the main tank for quite a while and very active

Also what price is fair? They cost around £4.95 locally...

Hi Harlequins

If you are thinking of selling them to the lfs, have a talk with the owner to find out what size he wants. It's apt to vary according to supply and demand. If you would consider taking a store credit rather than cash, you might get a better deal. You are also more likely to make a sale if you approach an independent lfs rather than one of the chains.

when i sell my gold/green stripes to lfs the bigger the better price really. i would grow them on to at least an inch to get better come back. price wise most lfs aroung here will give about a third of the price they sell them at so i would say going on that about £1.50-£2 each.... it may be worth trying to sell them privately to get more for them but it wont be loads more im affraid as breeders fish are normally quite a bit cheaper than lfs anyway.

yeah i know what you mean.... if only i had enough room i would have about 300 gold and green stripes!

Aww bless,you have done so well with your gold & greens,have you kept any of your juvi's?

I would love for the golds to breed,i have all the cories together in the main tank (except the pygmys)has no room for another tank beside the breeding pygmys & fry tank.

Whats the temperature for your golds tank?

sorry for the delay in replying ive not been on here for a while......

ive kept a few but really wanted new blood lines if poss. the temp of the tank is at 23-24oC and the same in the green tank too
