Dry Banana Leaves Tea Bags for Sale
The dry banana leaves are cleaned and then processed into the tea bags. Each box contains 50 tea bags which takes up less room and is easier to store than a bag of 50 leaves. These tea bags are cleaner than putting whole banana leaves or broken pieces of banana leaves in your tank. When you remove an banana leaf from a tank it still leaves sediment on the bottom of the tank that can rot and lower your water quality. The bags prevent this from happening. You can also dip the tea bags in beanie cases or jars for single bettas until the color is what you want. You can use one tea bag for multiple containers till the bag won't change the color of the water anymore.
How to Use the Tea Bags
Use one tea bag for each 10 gallons of water. Simply rinse the tea bag under a faucet until soaked, then let it float in the tank until you get the color you want. Usually a light yellow-brown is what the normal watercolor of the betta's habitat is. In 10 gallons this may take a day or two. Then remove so you don't lower the ph too much by having rotting plant leaves in the tank.

dry banana leaves (along with many others such as dry guava leaves) have been widely used in thailand for years, and it does seem to help with popeye. most still agree that indian almond leaf is more effective though... ;)

How about a blend mixed of herbal tea bag for betta? Almond indian, banana, and guava leaves all together??? I think that will be the best! All in one!! :p

I use Indian almond (Terminalia catappa) leaf teabags to lower the pH to about 6.5 to 6.8 (making it slightly acidic). It relaxes my bettas, keeps the rays of my crown tails in good form (i.e. no curling) and prevents algae growth.
