ok i already have a thriving 100L tank on the go, and now ive been given a small tank that was cluttering a colleagues shed.
i obviously wasnt going to turn down a free tank set up, and originally only planned it to be a quarantine tank. or maybe to provide a separate home for fry.

however, now ive cleaned up this tank and have it cycling i am having other ideas!
Now its only 25L, but im wondering what options i have? Maybe i keep a coldwater tank? or do i simply transfer some from my larger tank into here?

anyone have any suggestions of possible inhabitants?? or care to share what they would do?

thanks guys

Can I say a betta? :D

I think it would be much too small for anything cold water.

thats definitely something thats entered my mind!
i know the size will really dictate whats possible, so i turned to you guys for some inspiration!

Well if you don't mind me posting a pic to show you what I did with my aquanano 30 (23 litres) for my betta, so you can see what can be achieved with that sized tank.

I have two vallis, amazon sword and crypts with a floating anubia.

You could always try a betta with shrimp. Some bettas do well with shrimp and others get a tasty snack :)

Yes I have just the betta, he wouldn't mix well with anything else, like Greenmumma has said, so e bettas do well with shrimp :)

Blimey, spot the photojunkies....

I'll admit it :) I'm a sucker for tank pics!!!!! plus I always like to see how people set up their tanks, that's how I get ideas :shifty:
