Second Light Unit In A Vision 450?

Been looking at a Vision 450 for my planted Discus set up and the original lighting is 2 x 54W T5's which is about 1WPG and I was wondering if its possible to fit a second set in too cos I'm going to need at least 2WPG. Also are T5's the best lighting? I don't know a lot about lighting T8's, T5's etc?

Wish I could help Steve. That brand of equipment is simply not available here so I have no experience with it.

You might be able to put 2 sets of T5's in. the T8's came in 2 sets, I have 2 T8 units on my rio 400.

Maybe you could get the T8 lid flap set and put 2 lots of T5's in, if the T5 and T8 units are the same size.
