I am looking at getting a multi-purpose fertiliser for vallis, cabomba and swordplants, and wondered which you think is better value, and which is more effective?

I've read good things about both of these, which is why I wrote them, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Also, is it essential that I have sand under my plants, cause at the moment I have gravel under the plants and sand at the front! Should I go full sand? If yes, how would I go about changing over?

Probably Nourish but I can't find the analysis for it. PS3Steveo uses it to good effect. He might be able to get the details off the bottle.
If price is the issue I'd consider dropping in a Trace powder a couple of times a week

Stick with what you have if it looks ok IMO

Much more for your money with Nourish, good stuff if your low tech.
