Sea Star

Once again can anyone help, I have a marine as well as a tropical tank, in my marine, I had a blue sea star which seemed to be happy going around the tank and this morning I can't seem to find it any where!. Do they climb out of tanks or can they hide in small places? I have looked for him all around the tank and can't find him, he's to big to get in any of the rocks without knocking them down, but I can't think that he would climb out and go walkies

have u looked under all the rocks? Mabey it died and decomposed? Never had a salt tank ...or a starfish...have u found it yet? I know they can't climb out though, because in their nature they don't breath air.
