Sea Hare

ello all

iv jus got a sea hare to help with the clean up of my tank jus wondering if will eat some green grass thats growing? its eating little bits of algue what i had which is all good, but i cleaned 2 rocks with this grass on and its come back so im wondering if the sea hare will eat though it???

IME sea hares are voracious algae eaters but a little blind/stupid... It may take it a while to find the algae you want it to eat, but rest assured if it does wander over there, it'll take care of it. Bout the only algae my sea hare wouldn't eat (back when I kept one) was the calcerous Halimeda and/or coraline

cheers m8 its done the bottom of the tank loverly...lol.... but nit the bit i want i'll lend him a hand to find it whats the ink thay have??

Its ink... It's used to cloud the vision of predators to try and aid in defense against attacks. Contrary to popular belief it is not toxic. And it is removed EXTREMELY fast by a protein skimmer if you ahve one.
