Scratches Out Of Glass

Got a new tank from someone whos never used it as a fishtank before but as a vivarium, the condition is brilliant but on the front of the glass (inside) theres ALOT of scratches, is it possible to get scratches out of glass? If so how?

Has anyone here ever had to?

You could try to polish them out (jewellers polish) but apparently its a PITA, replace the glass or (the option I used on a 2nd hand tank with scratches at the front) turn the tank around so the back became the front (But as its been a viv guessing both have scratches ).

will need a soft mop for a high speed drill works well

I wouldn't waste your time to be honest .....

Be very careful with a tank designed as a vivarium. It often does not have the required strength to hold water the way we would use it.
