Hi

I have 4 platys. 2 seem more dominant and are larger than the third. They always seem to go for the little one, he usually makes a quick gettaway. They usually leave each other alone (scrapping wise). The fourth I only added yesterday and he is keeping himself to himself for the time being. The are all males.

Just before I caught the two more dominant ones having a bit a a scrap. They seemed to be trying to bite each others sides. All the fins seems fine and they are acting normally now.

However (I may be being paranoid) they both seem to have fungus on them now (I cant tell for sure as its very slight, it may just be the light reflection but I've not seen it before. One of them has had this previously and has recently cleared up.

I read somewhere damage to the scales can cause this. Is this true, and can it happen so quickly?

Cheers
Andy.

Need water stats in ammonai, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, yes fungus can grow on damaged tissue, does the white look fluffy on the fish, or just a bleached out area.

I would do some water changes for now.
