just wondering what type of schooling fish in your opinions are nice. im trying to get the tank look really nice atm it does but i want more schooling fish. cause they are awesome.

atm i have 15 rummy noses and 20 cardinals, with 6 discus in a 6*3*2.5 ft tank

Hmm, maybe black neons or glowlight tetras if you're looking to mix up the colours a bit. Congo tetras are supposed to be really nice looking too. Harlequin rasboras are supposed to school well.

IMO you've already got the two nicest looking kinds of little schooling fish :) You could always make your schools bigger!

You could go for something for the other regions of the tank, like a big shoal of hatchet fish or corydoras :good:.

That's what I would do, have both, hatchets and cories, and some clown loaches and things like that, too. But you'd have to watch the temps, don't discus like warmer water? And add more to the schools you already have. That's a huge tank, about 335 gallons, you definitely have room to do it. Could we have a pic?

Im not trying to be petty but its spelt shoal I think. Just incase you ever search it on google :D Dont think it matter show you spell it but jsut incase :D Im trying to be nice writing this so dont think im horrible :D
Nice tank :good:

You don't want to put loaches in with Discus. They really suffer in the higher temperatures. Most rainbows do better in harder water, so again, I would question their suitability with Discus.

I would go with other Amazonian blackwater species, or Congo's would also work as you have the space.

I am not a native speaker, but I find both words in the Cambridge dictionary: school (SEA ANIMALS) and shoal (FISH).
