These guys are only two inches, and will only get four. They are the ultimate oddball, compact, but with a huge mouth :p

are they eating frozen/freeze dried foods? or are they stuck on live food?

They were fat straight from the store, so they weren't to hungry. One of them ate some live brineshrimp, so I don't think they'll eat frozen. Anything with wings and fins is fair game though. I'm gonna let them go without food for a couple days and then try some different types :p

Dwarf dude: I saw this in a fish encyclopedia we have, and I thought, I'm never gonna find this, so I had to grab it when I saw it :nod:

VIP: They are nandids, which include badis badis, which are closely related to cichlids :)

Thanks all! Note to all, don't try with small fish, guppies, danios etc :whistle: The fish bok says they eat fish, and they only get four inches. I'm not going to make that their main meal though :no:
