I have lots of fine scratches on the front glass of my Juwel Trigon 190,
probably from using one of those magnetic glass cleaners.
Is there anything I can use to try and polish them out?
Thanks

An impossible task :X Just a suggestion. what about turning the tank around. ok change the background around too :shifty:
 ok stupid suggestion, just looked up your tank!

How about an glass polisher??

Or take it to one of those stands in carparks that do scratches and chips in ur windscreens etc???

Just an idea

sadly i have been refused when i asked about the windscreen thing  if you have time and patients you can use toothpaste and elbow grease. or get an electronic buffer and use some sort of cutting solution. the last option is not good for inside the tank. or replace the glass panel.

Cant u buy the actual resin and polish stuff that these chip int he windscreen companies use?

The windscreen companies do NOT make the scatch/chip invisible, they only inject resin (superglue ?) into the chip to stop it spreading... and it looks worse than before if you ask me, I had a so called repair at RAC... ended up with a new screen because it was so bad

Only course of action is to polish out the scratch... which weakens the glass if they are more than "surface" ... I would be happier to turn the tank round.
