Scat Scare!!!

Hey ever1;

I was at a local aquarium shop getting a few things when i cme across some awsome silver and red scats(little ones). I'd always wanted a scat so i thought i'd get one next week when i trade in my upside down catfish. My friend on the other hand bought a silver spotted scat. He was 15 dollars AU and the reds were 18 dollars AU. When we put him in the tank at his house he didnt seem to be scared of my finger(weird.) he swam around for a while, then died . I really want one, silver or red, but now i am intimidated to get one. My tank is less crowded and better kept then his but I am still unsure. What should I do. Also, are reds or silvers less agro?

Got another unrelated problem;
I've got two honey gouramis, 1 is reely active and swims with my barbs, the other hides in the plastic plants and is always timid. What shouyld i do? (Are reel plants better for them?) And i recently replaced my wood with a rock, my eel seems to like burrowing under it except today i think hees stuck, i dont want to frightn him but is that possible?

i found out y my scat died

the guy neva told us that he needed brakish water, so i dont think i can get a refund like u sed yesterday,
