Anyone here own a scarlet plec? saw a large one at wharf aquatics the other day for £255, lovely fish though

L025's are gorgeous indeed - but alas I don't have one. Though was very tempted when Wholesale Tropical had a beautiful large 9" (approx) one at around £100. Another time perhaps....

Isn't a violet plec a rusty plec (L077) and not a scarlet (L025)?

I think I paid £7 for my rusty lol - shows the difference in price between here and Aus. I'd love a scarlet (got to love their hooded "evil" eyes) but they're carnivores and therefore I cant have one with my royal (when he gets here) as they need a totally different diet

I own an L25 Scarlet, great fish. £225 is a high price if you ask me, they have a full grown one in my lfs for £150.

wharf are quite expensive and it truly looked amazing, I never knew you could get carnivorous plecs...

Wow, I saw one of those at a fish store near my house. It was very big and only $55! I guess someone returned him along with a big arowana and an adult raphael catfish.
