Scarlet Badis question

I have tried to search the internet for info on Scarlet Badis and sometimes I see the term Dwarf Scralet Badis. Are there regular sized ones AND dwarf ones out there? The Arizona Gardens website made it sound like the Dwarf Scarlet stayed really small (like under an inch) but other websites say the Scarlet Badis get to be 3 inches.

As far as I know , the scarlets are smaller then other badis species , so an inch or under would seem to be correct .

Most of the others , blue badis , burmanicus/ ruber , siamensis , asamensis to name a few grow to about 3" usually a little less .


Check in members fish photos for " Tear scars " post on his Scarlets , he may know better .scarlets
