saved 2 bettas!

i saw my cousin had 2 beta jars that where in verry poor shape. i asked her how often she changed the water and she said "once a month" so i took them from her . one has fin rot but the other looks fine... so after about an hour accimalating i put them in there own temp homes. there tanks are both a bit larger than a liter and 1/2 (i know the gallon rule i just dont have the tanks yet) i added salt and stress coat to help them heal. they look much happier in the larger bowls... teh vases they where in where so tiny im suprised they lived as long as they did. so any way.... how ong till the fins grow back? or does the finrot mean the one fish is gonna have messed up fins for good?

EDIT: there not the purdyist bettas but i will post pics soon of the finrot and teh helty one.... also they are both vail tails and they are purple

hey djdotnet,

if you live in North america, pick up some Bettafix Remedy from your local Petsmart. s/he should be all better in no time B) (about a week or two, but you can treat longer if needed... lets hope not though!)
you sound like a life saver! Kudos! enjoy your new-found fishies...
