Save Loads Of Money! What Water Treatment?

hi all what water treatments/conditioners do you use when doing a water change? its just i have found out that a pond treatment is exactly the same as the tetra aqua safe i have been using for the last year costing me £10 a throw and lasts for few water changes! (ive got a 6ft oscar tank!) this pond one does exactly the same but will last for 5000 litres! cant believe i had been paying or should i say wasting all that money! hope this helps some of you out..

Yep I buy the large bottles of pond treatment for water, you just have to use a very reduced amount compared to the normal stuff you would buy.

Got 16 tanks so need to save money wherever you can.

Most people with large volumes of water to condition on a regular basis will use pond dechlor.

I use Prime though I have considered going the bulk pond dechlor route lately.

Pond dechlorinator for me too, i change about 500 gallons a week so using aquarium dechlorinator would cripple my wallet!
