I have decided to get SAP's. Just have a few questions.
Will they live in pairs with just each ither in a large enough tank?
And this is from pufferlist.com

'These puffers must be fed a daily supply of snails to prevent overgrowth of teeth. If not provided, the owner will need to trim their teeth every 4-6 months.'

If i feed snails will I need to trim as well?
And how do I go about trimming a puffers teeth?
Thanks , any help appreciated. :alien:

Here's a great article on puffer dentistry and teeth clipping, it features SAP's in particular - ####/forum/viewtopic.php?t=866

I feed my SAP snails daily, and I'm quite sure this will help, but I think trimming their teeth is inevitable.

Regarding housing them with the same species, SAP puffers are considered the most placid of all the puffers, but with all puffers every personality is different. If you want to try however, the recommended tank size for 2 is 25 US gallons.

Sorry, dunno what happened last time.

Hmm, it wont let me link it, it censors it. I guess they don't want me to link you to it!
