How to you keep sand clean? I try to siphon our what I can, but it never seems to be enough.

That's a very fine, light, almost white sand so any/every dark spec will stand out. To clean, you simply hover your siphon hose just above the surface, over the detritus. You might be better off with a darker, more sandy colored sand?
