I just converted my 55 gallon to sand. Any tips on how to keep it clean? I would assume that using a normal gravel cleaner would suck the sand right out...???
Everything I have read suggest using a gravel cleaner, but keeping it 1/2 inch above the sand. I'll be giving it a try this weekend on my newly converted tank. Also make sure you aerate the sand so no pockets of H2S build up.
