Sand Suitable For Aquarium

What kind of sand is safe to use in a freshwater aquarium?

Thanks for the link. I looked at it earlier, but just want to confirm which type of sand is suitable for aquarium use.

Is pool filter sand safe to use in an aquarium?

Hi Sasha, good to see you are still around.

I use pool filter sand in most of my tanks
it is inert (therfore safe) and dosn't require much, if any, washing.

I have pool filter sand in all four of my tanks. Works great.
