Navarre Marine Moderator Joined Jun 11, 2004 Messages 3,824 Reaction score 0 Aug 29, 2004 #2 If the sand is "Live sand" then definately salt first. I would add the salt first anyway. Might make the tank slightly cloudy for a day or so I prefer to do it this way.
