Sand In Hospital Tank

Hi there you kind people can someone give me any advise i set up a hospital tank and everything was fine water perfect and then i added sand and forgot to wash it and my water is now very cloudy have done a 50% water change since and will do this everyday but will this uncycle my tank? please help as i feel stuped thank you

No real problem, you wont need to recycle just keep up with the water changes and use fresh filter wool when needed.

For future refference, most experienced fish keepers wont use any substrate atall in a hospital tank, it makes keeping it clean alot easier

Thanks shall i still run my filter or turn it off i have nothing in tank

Thats up to you, bare in mind if you leave it off for too long the bacteria in it will die id suggest running it inside your established tank, alongside the main filter to keep it cycled.

Thank you for your help i think i will turn it on as i do not want to mess with main tank
